National Day Parade 2009

*Role of Singapore Drum Fest: To facilitate, coordinate and serve to elevate all drumming related activities in NDP 2009.

It is with great excitement that we announce to you that Singapore Drum Fest will be involved in National Day Parade 2009! This year marks the entry of famed director for NDP 2009, Mr Ivan Heng of Wild Rice Productions. Expect alot of changes to the National Day Parade as it unfolds a COMPLETELY brand new concept.

Drumming is certainly set to play a pivotal role. We have since gathered all the best drummers from diverse percussion / drum groups in Singapore to form up the contingent of 222 drummers!

Under the creative drumming choreography of Mr Syed Ahmad, Mr Dennis Sim and Mr Riduan Zalani, the drumming action in NDP 09 will set a new standard for many years to come.

As Singapore Drum Fest, we are appreciative that we have had numerous opportunities over the last 2 years to serve the drumming community in Singapore. This year, we endeavor to continue serving the nation as we hope you embark on a fresh journey with us in NDP 2009.
