18 & Above Finalists

Streetsites
Formed in 2003, Streetsites is a trio that plays a blend of rock and nu-metal and has even guest on an episode of local sitcom Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd. For the semi-finals, the band performed Alterbridge's "Come To Live" and owned the stage with their massive overall sound.

Psychotherapy
Founded in 2005 by guitarist Bryan J, Psychotherapy has already released a four-track EP titled Metal Madness. And true to their horror metal genre, the band did a visually shocking rendition of their original piece titled "Cradlegrave." Despite the leftfield performance, the band still impressed the judges with their tight playing.

Juxtapose
Although the band is inspired by all sorts of music such as Latin, R&B, heavy metal, Juxtapose is one hell of a funky band. The band performed their original titled "Flank Attack" at the semi-finals and was undeniably one of the most entertaining bands of the night. Not only were the judges impressed with the band's tight musicianship, they were also quite taken with the band's good song dynamics!

Damage Control
Here’s an interesting fact about Damage Control – the members are all music teachers! The four members are all close friends and, according to drummer Jit Seng, have come together “thanks to fate” for the band quite recently. The band performed John Petrucci's "Curve" and impressed the judges with their tight musicianship, earning comments such as "awesome" and "technically brilliant."

Sonofa
Sonofa is an ensemble of young musicians. The band mixes dance and club elements with didgeridoo, keyboards, percussion drums and bass for a mind blowing, explosive live experience. According to percussionist Riduanzalani, the band “just wants to have fun!” The band blew the judges away with their original tune titled "Timed Machine" at the semi-finals. With their unique sound, the band was lavished with comments such as "I want to go nuts when you play" and "(the band) will put Singapore on the musical map!"
