Singapore Drumfest 2007, the first ever international modern drumming festival of its kind in the whole of Asia, aims to enrich local arts and music scene through inspiring and enthralling performances from world-renowned drummers, percussionists, and other musicians, making drumming accessible to everyone. It not only provides top-class international musical entertainment, but also educates and advances the art of drumming and music in general, both locally and throughout the region. Make no mistake… This is an International Modern Drum Festival held in Singapore. It will feature acts from across the globe!

In fact, the event drew in drum enthusiasts from all parts of Asia, including Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and Thailand; there were even those who came from other parts of the world like Australia, Finland, USA and the UK!

We are also a social enterprise with aims to contribute back to the audience. We have given away door gifts worth more than the value of the ticket at our events.

As our events are truly unique to Singapore in the Asian context, the opportunity for exposure and audience reach is boundless. Through our events and our various other communication channels such as our website with over 50,000 hits and our ever-expanding mailing list of more than 2,000 music & drum lovers, we are able to reach the majority of a very niche market that is yet untapped in this region – a market of drum enthusiasts and specialists.

We believe that Music with Great Drumming is Entertaining, Energetic & Spectacular. We want to bring this message to the masses.

We also propagate that being a professional musician is a respectable and rewarding career in Singapore.

In conjunction with Singapore Drumfest 2007, we held a drum competition, Drum Challenge 2007, in hopes to encourage more interest in drumming and uncover budding drum talents. With the semifinals of the competition being held outdoors and open to the public, it also gave the drummers a platform to showcase their skills, just like any other talent shows!

We also do pride ourselves as one of Asia’s premier Music & Drum Events organizer. We have organized 3 professional drum clinics with Thomas Lang, Will Kennedy and Carl Albrecht. Out of which, the Thomas Lang clinic brought in a record attendance for any ticketed Singapore Music clinic at 380 ppl!

We are confident that having laid a strong foundation with last year's events, our dedicated team will be able to ride on the success and added exposure of the event brand to garner more interest from both the public and the media in the present year, further enforcing Singapore Drumfest and its events as THE synonymous to “Great Music with Exciting Modern styled Drumming” in Asia and anchoring a pivotal role in discovering Asia’s top drummers of the future.
